First, Get winzip if you don't have it already. Then Download the gameboy. Then download either pokemon red or pokemon blue or both. When the download(s) are finished, go to start then go to find, then go to files or folders. type in the_gameboy.zip or the gameboy.zip . One of them should work! double click the winzip icon. click on extract. A box should open saying something like extract to: and you should type in C:\poke or if your drive is D, type in D:\poke. This is called extracting. Extract pokemon blue and/or pokemon red into C:\poke or if you have a different drive, type the drve letter then :\poke. example= F:\poke . Once you are done all the extracting, go to start, go to programs, go to ms-dos prompt.

cd poke [press enter]

gmb pokered [if you want to play pokemon red then press enter]

gmb pokeblue [if you want to play pokemon blue then press enter]

The game will start. If you want to use gameshark, in gameplay, press the esc button. Click on utilites then click on Gameshark cheats. type in the cheat then press enter. Then click on the screen in the top-right corner to get back to the game. To exit the game, press esc then go to file, then exit.
